The crossing of the Delaware by George Washington. The death of Julius Caesar. The founding of democracy in Greece. All these things were iconic in human history, but how do we know any any of them ever happened?

The question begs to be asked: How do historians know if an event actually happened? Well, simply put, they know something happened because it was witnessed by multiple eye witnesses. Any historical event that is true, regardless of any material evidence, can be confirmed through the testimonies of eye witnesses.

So if we apply this to the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can see that there is a lot of evidence that the resurrection really did happen.

Taking into account that the Bible is a historical book, and even atheist scholars like Bart Ehrman acknowledge it as such, we can see multiple witnesses recorded across the various books of the Bible. We are told by the apostle Paul that hundreds saw the risen Jesus. Even skeptics saw the risen Jesus and believed on Him.

If you want to investigate these claims a little bit further, please see this article here.

The resurrection is not a made up story. There are numerous scholars, both atheists and Christians, that admit that there were many accounts made by people who witnessed the risen Lord Jesus.

He was raised for our justification. Trust in the risen Saviour today!

God Bless
